BIO: I grew up in Moorhead, MN. Graduated college with a Bachelor of Arts: Theatre Arts(Direction, Acting, and Musical Theatre Performance) and a Womens Studies Minor and Dance Minor. Fast forward a bit… I started Stage Acting professionally back in 2007. Traveled around the country doing various shows. Moved to Minneapolis to focus my performance energy in the Twin Cities. After 3 years of doing Stage and Commercial work, I moved outside Detroit, MI. Invested a year there Acting, Directing Theatre, and training as a Make-A-Wish Wish Granter.
Following Michigan, went on a 3 month road trip around the country camping, living out of a van, and staying with friends, family, and strangers exploring the country. The road trip was a wonderful life experience. It was a big lap of the country with extra stops beyond it by visiting everywhere from Niagra Falls, Chicago, Toronto, New York City, Washington DC, South Beach Miami, Austin, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Wine Country, Vancouver, Edmonton, Calgary, Yellow Stone, and every major spot in between. At the completion of the road trip, moved back to Minneapolis, MN and started pursuing everything I am passionate about and turned it into professional explorations. 3 months living out of a van is a great way to refocus your mind and ask yourself “You only live once – What do you want to be doing?”
So I started Ring Announcing, Officiating Weddings, continued Make-A-Wish work, explored Photography, got Certified as a Personal Trainer and became Head Coach of OrangeTheory Fitness in Eden Prairie, MN, and finally started directing theater and doing outreach work with YAI –Young Artists Initiative on the East Side of St. Paul.
I pay my bills doing everything I LOVE. Today, I live by the idea that “Only a life lived for others is a life worthwhile.” – Albert Einstein.
